How PawsNaro Builds Trust
A pet knowledge and discovery network — every provider comes with evidence, not just a listing.
"Verified" can mean almost anything on a generic directory — a paid listing fee, an email confirmation, or nothing at all. PawsNaro doesn't use one vague badge. Every profile shows exactly what's been checked, so you can judge for yourself.
What each label means
These are the exact trust labels you'll see on provider profiles and guide pages across PawsNaro.
Claimed profile
The provider controls or has confirmed this listing. This is not the same as verified — a claimed profile means we know who's speaking, not that we've checked their credentials.
Identity checked
The person or operator's identity evidence has been reviewed by our team.
Business checked
The business's existence, contact details or location have been reviewed against real evidence.
Credential checked
A declared professional credential (veterinary license, certification) has been checked against appropriate evidence.
Fresh information
The provider has reconfirmed their core details within the last 90 days. Older, unconfirmed listings are shown as such.
Reviewed content
This guide or piece of content has been reviewed by a qualified or editorial reviewer before publishing.
How a profile earns each label
- Provider claims or is added
A professional claims their profile, or a founding member suggests one for our team to reach out to.
- Identity and business evidence reviewed
Government ID, business registration, and contact/location evidence are checked before any label beyond "claimed" is applied.
- Credentials checked against evidence
Declared licenses or certifications (veterinary council registration, training certification) are checked, not just taken at face value.
- Freshness maintained over time
Providers reconfirm their details periodically. A profile that hasn't been reconfirmed within 90 days is shown as such, not silently kept "verified."
Our health content boundary
This matters especially for PawsNaro AI and our health & wellness care guides.
Educational, not diagnostic
Health content tells you what to observe and when to contact a veterinarian — never home-treatment instructions or a diagnosis.
Expert-reviewed where it matters
Medical topics are reviewed by a qualified professional where possible, and we show the review date so you know how current it is.
Emergencies go to real vets
Emergency content always directs you to local veterinary emergency services — never to platform chat or PawsNaro AI.
No diagnosis by proxy
Trainers, groomers and enthusiasts on PawsNaro are never positioned as able to provide veterinary diagnosis, however experienced.
